Kidzbop get in the groove with Taxis
A sold-out one-night-only arena show at Wembley stadium. No, it’s not Rod Stewart, Taylor Swift, or Ed Sheeran – It’s Kidzbop!
The who, what, where, and why?
Kidzbop are a global phenomenon in children’s entertainment. 4 Electric Superside Taxis were used to promote and raise awareness from the 10th February to the 9th March for their arena show at the OVO Wembley on the 8th March.
Why did taxis work?
There are two reasons why taxis made sense for this campaign. The first reason is the audience. The London Taxi audience are already more likely to have children (compared to the national average), making them an ideal target for a child-centric brand like Kidzbop.
Secondly, taxis work very well for time-specific campaigns like concerts because they offer contextually driven creative. Combine this with Kidzbop branding, and you have a powerful tool for recall and awareness. We can also suggest that the thousands of daily trips that taxis make throughout London also assisted in prompting awareness of the concert dates.
Taxis are an attractive combination for concert promoters and brands thanks to their combination of captivating creativity and consistent presence on busy streets.
