Orebella makes waves in… Brick Lane!

World-famous Supermodel Bella Hadid in the back of a London Cab, being taken to… Morley’s Chicken Shop? Even after 20 years of doing business as the UK’s largest Taxi Advertiser, some jobs can still surprise us.

 

Regardless, we enjoyed crafting this boutique campaign for Bella Hadid’s new perfume brand, Orebella, as it launched in the UK!

 

The Who, what, and why

 

This campaign for Orebella was very simple - only 1 branded Electric Superside was required! The first job for our hardworking taxi saw our branded black cab pick-up Bella Hadid and take her to Morley’s Chicken Shop in Brick Lane (hungry, anyone?), while the second job required the same taxi to pick up from the Connaught Hotel in central London and take them to Shreeji Newsagent to film content.

Why did taxis work?

 

If you’re an eagle-eyed follower of Bella Hadid on social media, you’ve probably already seen her with her Orebella-branded Taxi in East London. Taxis worked for this boutique job because they fulfilled the most basic element of a PR activation. They took the talent from point A to point B, while working as a branded tool that grabbed attention. To see if it worked, all you have to do is look at the photos on Orebella’s Instagram. There was no shortage of positive comments about the brand, and, we’re proud to say, the taxi was certainly a hit!

 

I guess the only question it leaves us with, is this – did you pick up enough Morley’s Chicken for the whole Ubiquitous team?
