In March 2016, Mentos created a taxi advertising campaign with Ubiquitous which ran for 4 weeks in London. During the journey, all passengers received a complimentary pack of Mentos Choco, and if the passenger shared a selfie of themselves inside the branded taxi then they could win a years supply of Mentos. The taxi ran in the following formats: Supersides, Tip Seats, Driver Briefing Sheets and Samples.
Not only did Mentos freebies enhance the marketing experience for the passengers but also with the drivers. The drivers were supplied with briefing sheets which educated them on the brand's objectives within the food and drink sector.
